Einladung zum nächsten GIRT in Hamburg am 14. März 2016
Recht herzlich laden wir alle Interessierten zum nächsten Termin des German-Indian Round Table (GIRT) Hamburg am 14. März ein. An diesem Tag haben wir die Freude, ca. 20 Geschäftsführer und Unternehmer aus kleineren und mittleren Unternehmen (KMU) aus Indien bei uns zu begrüßen. Die indischen Gäste sind Teil eines Managementfortbildungsprogramms der GIZ und werden von unserem bewährten Kooperationspartner Akademie International betreut.
Die gemeinsame Veranstaltung mit Akademie International bietet eine hervorragende Möglichkeit, unternehmerische Erfahrungen in der Zusammenarbeit bzw. Kommunikation mit deutschen Unternehmen aus indischer Sicht kennen zu lernen und neue Kooperationspotenziale auszuloten. Die Gäste würden auch sehr gerne über Chancen und Herausforderungen im deutsch-indischen Geschäft die deutsche Sichtweise erfahren.
Event invitation: GIRT Hamburg goes Bremen on Nov. 30, 2015
The India Week Hamburg is successfully over, the ongoing year 2015 is, however, not yet finished and leaves us some space for further activities. Following our long tradition, GIRT Hamburg will go to Bremen on 30th of Nov. and organize an exciting and informative event together with the German-Indian Society of Bremen (DIG Bremen e.V.) between 17:00 and 20:00h.
We will have two keynotes: one will focus on the “Importance of intercultural competence in a globalized economy | Experiences of a German Manager in an Indian company„, by Mr. Karsten Papmeyer. Mr. Papmeyer is founder and board-member of an Indian engineering & IT company.
In a second keynote Dr. Rajnish Tiwari from Center for Frugal Innovation at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) will speak about the “Relevance of Frugal Innovation in today’s Germany and the Avenues of Indo-German Collaboration”. In this he will also report some recent developments in the relevant research activities at TUHH. Dr. Tiwari also heads the GIRT chapter in Hamburg.

Einer langen und guten Tradition folgend wird der German-Indian Round Table (GIRT) Hamburg auch in diesem Jahr wieder nach Bremen fahren. Zusammen mit der Deutsch-Indischen Gesellschaft Bremen e.V. und der indischen Community in und um Bremen und Hamburg werden wir das Jahr mit einer informativen und spannenden Veranstaltung ausklingen lassen.

„What started as an initiative of the German-Indian Round Table (GIRT) in 2007, has become an institution over the years. Due to its growing size and wide range of topics, the event takes place every two years since 2009 and is organized under the lead of the Senate Chancellery together with the Ministry of Culture in Hamburg, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the HWF Hamburg Business Development Corporation and the German-Indian Round Table as well as the Hamburg Representation Mumbai. Another important partner is the Consulate General of India, Hamburg.
