Invitation to event: “Potentials of Indo-German Partnership in the Food Processing Industry”

Hopefully you have had an excellent start in the new year and I take this opportunity to wish you and your dear ones a wonderful, happy and healthy year ahead.

We are pleased to invite you to an event on the coming 23rd of January. The event is about the potentials of Indo-German partnership in the food processing industry and is being organized by the Consulate General of India (CGI) in Hamburg with active support of GIRT Hamburg. A study conducted on behalf of the CGI on this theme will be also launched at the event. Mr. Madan Lal Raigar, the Consul General of India in Hamburg, will deliver a welcome address. There will be a presentation of study results by me and we shall have time for a Q&A session followed by a small networking reception.

There is no fee for participation. Kindly send your registration to this event directly to the Consulate (com.hamburg@mea.gov.in) latest by January 18, 2017. Due to the limited number of seats available the Consulate reserves the right to accept registrations. The event shall be held in Hotel Baseler Hof, from 18:30h onwards on Monday, the 23rd January. Next Meeting of GIRT Hamburg on June 13, 2016

We are pleased to invite to our next meeting, which will take place on Monday, the 13th June 2016.

This time we have the pleasure of hosting two special guest talks on the following topics:

  1. The age of digital enterprise: Opportunities of Indo-German collaboration”, by Mr. Ashutosh Kumar. Since 2002 Ashutosh is working with SAP at their head office in Germany. In his current role as chief business consultant he drives “IoT & Digital Experience” strategy services across EMEA region.
  1. India – A bright investment spot in global economy: assessment of last two years and opportunities on the Horizon“ by Mr. Manish Singla. He is currently Executive Director with Client Associates (Gurgaon) and is leading a team of seasoned family office professionals.

As usual, our meeting will take place from 18:30h onwards at Hotel Baseler Hof (Esplanade 11, 20354 Hamburg). In case of interest please send a binding registration by e-mail to tiwari@tuhh.de by June 7, 2016. Owing to space constraints we reserve the right to admission.

Please also note that GIRT meetings are held as a “Stammtisch” which means there is no entry or participation fee but the participants are expected to consume their evening meal at the venue and pay for one’s own consumption. It is important to abide by this rule as this is the only way we can keep our events free-of-charge in representative settings.

IndiaWeek_Logo„Hamburg will celebrate the sixth India Week from 2nd to 8th November this year. More than 60 events covering economy, culture, science and education, politics and society will showcase the profound expertise in Hamburg relating to India.

„What started as an initiative of the German-Indian Round Table (GIRT) in 2007, has become an institution over the years. Due to its growing size and wide range of topics, the event takes place every two years since 2009 and is organized under the lead of the Senate Chancellery together with the Ministry of Culture in Hamburg, the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce, the HWF Hamburg Business Development Corporation and the German-Indian Round Table as well as the Hamburg Representation Mumbai. Another important partner is the Consulate General of India, Hamburg.

India’s 68th Independence Day to be Celebrated in Hamburg

CGI_HH_15Aug2014The Consulate General of India, Hamburg will celebrate the 68th Independence Day of India at its premises on Friday, August 15, 2014, beginning 9:45 AM. All office bearers and members of the Indian and Indo-German Associations / Organisations have been „cordially invited to attend the function“.

The Consulate has also requested such associations and organisations to disseminate this information among the Indian community requesting them to participate in the celebrations. Further details may kindly be taken from the attached file.
