India Week Hamburg 2025 : Celebrating Hamburg-India relations

The 11th edition of the „India Week Hamburg“ is set to bring Hamburg and India closer yet again. Between Monday, the 23rd June and Sunday, the 29th June there are dozens of events from a wide spectrum of fields, such as culture, economy, sciences, society and politics that will make India „present“ to the citizens of the Hamburg metropolitan region and beyond.

Visitors can expect a great number of exciting events including „Talks & Panels, Food & Fashion, Yoga & Ayurveda and much more“ as the organizers promise in their posters.

Hamburg-India Business Day: Accelerating Economic Partnership (Tuesday, 24.06.2025, 09:00-14:00h) being held in cooperation with the annual meet of Indo-German Chamber of Commerce | Organizer: Hamburg Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Hamburg Representation Mumbai, OAV – German Asia Pacific Business Association, and GIRT Hamburg

Indian Talent: University to Workforce (Wednesday, 25.06.2025, 16:00-19:00h) | This session brings together students, university representatives, industry leaders, and policymakers and shall „serve as a platform to highlight how universities contribute to bridging education and employment, ensuring a smooth transition for international talent into Germany’s workforce“ | Organized by: University of Hamburg, RWTH Aachen University, Hamburg University of Technology | GIRT Hamburg contribution via Dr. Stephan Buse.

Frugale Medizintechnik im Fokus: Akzeptanz & Potenziale im Gesundheitswesen (27.06.2025, 10:00-12:00h) | This event is in German, but discussions/Q&A can be also held biligually in German & English.
Die 2-stündige Veranstaltung bringt Akteur:innen aus Krankenhäusern, Medizintechnikunternehmen, Krankenkassen, Politik und Wissenschaft zusammen, um die Akzeptanz, regulatorischen Herausforderungen und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten frugaler Innovationen in Deutschland zu diskutieren. Dabei werden erfolgreiche Praxisbeispiele aus Indien und Deutschland vorgestellt und Wege aufgezeigt, wie grenzüberschreitende Innovationspartnerschaften zur Weiterentwicklung des Gesundheitswesens beitragen können.
